Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Product Manager to lead the evolution of our customer-facing CPQ and CRM offerings. This individual will be responsible for driving the roadmap, discovery, and delivery of our Selling product pillar. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex business challenges, eager to leverage AI tooling, and attuned to the critical nuances of CPQ and CRM platforms from the customer’s perspective.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, and Go-To-Market to ensure our CPQ and CRM solutions effectively support our growth, scalability, and customer experience goals. You’ll be expected to deeply understand user needs, prioritize product improvements, and deliver features that enhance quoting efficiency, pricing accuracy, and deal velocity.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Product Management:
- Drive the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring the delivery of high-impact, customer-centric CPQ and CRM solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of product plans, balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and business objectives.
- Customer-Centric Focus:
- Be the voice of the customer, gathering and prioritizing feedback to drive the development of new features and product enhancements.
- Maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Maxio’s billing features address customer pain points and deliver value.
- Collaboration Across Teams:
- Work with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, and support to ensure seamless go-to-market strategies and product adoption.
- Provide internal teams with the necessary knowledge and resources to understand and sell Maxio’s CPQ and CRM solutions effectively.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of product features and continuously optimize for scalability, user experience, and performance.
- Stay on top of emerging trends in subscription billing, payments, and fintech to keep Maxio’s products ahead of the curve.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Deep expertise in CPQ systems, CRM platforms, and subscription billing models.
- 3+ years of experience in one of the following:
- A customer-facing Product Manager role within a B2B SaaS organization
- Direct, hands-on experience with CPQ or CRM platforms
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and automation within billing platforms
- Proficient in product management tools such as Jira and Confluence; experienced working in Agile environments
- Strong understanding of Agile product management practices
- Ability to leverage cutting-edge AI tools to enhance product discovery and delivery
- Communication & Leadership:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex billing and product concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- Additional certifications or training in product management, SaaS billing, or financial systems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with leading billing platforms such as Zuora, Stripe, or Maxio
- Deep understanding of CPQ and CRM systems; bonus points for familiarity with related concepts like global tax compliance, invoicing standards, and SaaS accounting practices
- Previous experience in a fintech or SaaS startup environment
