Maxio is looking for a QA Software Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and continuous improvement. This role involves collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers to identify potential issues, implement testing strategies, and enhance overall software performance.
You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and improving test coverage.
Your contributions will help ensure a seamless and reliable user experience, supporting Maxio in building scalable and robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze product requirements and user stories to provide constructive feedback and ensure testability
- Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test scenarios based on user stories
- Execute manual and automated test cases, ensuring thorough test coverage
- Accurately report defects, collaborate effectively with the engineering team to resolve issues, and verify fixes
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of existing functionalities
- Communicate testing results and progress clearly and concisely to the team, providing actionable insights
- Evaluate and challenge backend and frontend design, implementation, and usability to ensure a high-quality user experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven experience in web application quality assurance testing
- Ability to develop and maintain test suites using Playwright and TypeScript is highly desirable
- Open to developing proficiency in automation testing
- Demonstrated experience working within fast-paced Agile environments
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical thinking skills
- Familiarity with the Billing domain is a distinct advantage
